Just a quick lil' add on to my post yesterday --
Thursday -- had to run 2 departments solo at work, oh yeah - there was a tornado . . . (not a joke!) We did get lucky in that our bldg and area was okay, but just a mile south of us there was some pretty big hail and damage . . . so maybe my luck is turning???
Yikes! I sure don't miss tornado warnings...then again, hurricane season is almost here. Work & weather...two things we'd love to do without.
ReplyDeleteYeah, don't let the man in blue fool you - we get tornado warnings in Florida too. Of course he is used to that midwest thing and has experienced a couple of hurricanes... tornado or hurricane, I just have NO sense of humor about it.

Yeah, I agree with those guys... Though, I do like thunder & lightning storms some times... Only if you're safe at home watching from a front or back porch, smelling the rain when it first touches the earth... Something about that makes me nostalgic for the good times from my childhood. Anyway, glad you're o.k. (((BIG HUGS)))
